Description

VIVENDI

For the control of creeping thistle in established grassland. Once the product is sprayed onto the leaves of the weed, this translocates right down to the roots.

Benefits & Uses:

  • Vivendi 200 is effective on a variety of weeds, but its strength is for the control of thistles. It offers great control of creeping thistle, spear thistle, mayweed and smooth sow thistle.
  • Products containing the active called 'clopyralid', such as Vivendi, should not be used on grass that is going for haymaking.  This is to reduce the likelihood of clopyralid residues being found in manure which would affect sensitive crops. These label changes have been introduced as there is more of a demand for manure to contribute towards replacing peat in some manufactured composts and more home-grown vegetable production and to mitigate residues
  • For best results apply Vivendi when the thistles are actively growing but before flowering.
  • Livestock must be excluded from the area during spraying and for at least 7 days after treatment. (if ragwort is present, exclude animals from the area until the weed has completely died and there is no sign of it left in the field)
  • Do not apply Vivendi if weeds are wet or if rain is forecast within 6 hours of intended use.
  • Wash spray equipment thoroughly after use with All Clear Extra.
  • Always read the label before use and always wear the appropriate protective clothing and equipment
