It is essential to understand the types of weeds that commonly invade paddocks and pastures. Some of the most prevalent include thistles, which can be aggressive and hardy, and can rapidly take over pastureland. Docks are well known for their deep tap root and can therefore be challenging to eradicate.  Ragwort is another problem, toxic to livestock, ragwort can spread quickly if not managed and can be fatal to horses if not controlled.  Dandelions, whilst they may seem harmless and look pretty, can out compete desirable forage.
